QUILT SHOW
Emerald Valley Quilters presents a Quilt Show full of over 300 quilts and the featured quilter Ken Casey. There will be vendors, quilts of valor, a small quilt auction, demonstrations, and a build-a-block for charity.
MARGARITAFEST
Beergarden is celebrating big time the first week of May with Margaritafest. There will be lots of margaritas — and tequila as well. Mexican Lagers and specialty brews will be on their draft list. Their Food Trucks will be creating their own taco variations for this epic event.
FAMILY STORYTIME
Young children and family come learn and have fun together with books, songs, and more at Family Storytime! Storytimes are lively interactive gatherings filled with stories, songs, rhymes, movement and social time for young children and their grown-ups. Research shows these language-rich activities help develop the skills they’ll need as they grow into learning to read.
VOLUNTEER GARDENING
Share your passion for roses and gain hands on experience in year-round care of perennial shrubs! Volunteer Gardeners meet by the garage door of the shop at the garden wearing weather appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes. No experience necessary.

It’s Free Comic Book Day at Heroes Haven! The comics that we will be handing out are purchased specifically for this event. They will be sitting out on a table so you can choose from a wide selection.

Local producers come together at the Umpqua Valley Farmers Market to share their goods and promote their products. We have lots of activities throughout the year and encourage you to bring the kids. This is a family event that promotes thinking locally and supporting your neighbors.
