Park(ing) Day is an annual celebration of creatively converting car parking spaces into tiny parks and places for art, play and simple enjoyment. It’s a unique opportunity to engage in ongoing dialog around how our cities are designed and built. Stop by for lunch or after work to take a look at what local artists, architects and others have designed! The day is intended to encourage placemaking and raise awareness about the importance of walkable, livable and healthy communities.
EUGENE SATURDAY MARKET
The Saturday Market is a weekly celebration of local arts and food. Over 250 artisans sell handcrafted goods, amazing international cuisine and live music – this is the perfect place to shop for unique gifts and try unique food. The Saturday Market is the oldest weekly open-air crafts festival in the U.S. It has been operating for 54 years and is open every Saturday.
GARLIC FEST AT DOWN TO EARTH
Join Garlic Fest at Down to Earth for some festive fun celebrating fragrant, pungent, deliciously distinct- GARLIC! Meet Farmer Bernadette from Country Joy Farm in the garden department from 10 a.m. – noon. Rogue Farm Corps- meet them and learn about their mission from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Live music with Boxcar Figaro 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and RiseOhm 12:30 -2 p.m. Garlic tastings and samples of their Dangerously Delicious Garlic Blue Cheese Dip and refreshments will be available while supplies last! Drawings for great prizes and over 15 varieties of seed garlic to choose from.

Join CASA of Douglas County for Night of Imagination, our annual fundraising auction supporting children who have experienced abuse or neglect. Every dollar raised helps provide these children with dedicated advocates as they navigate the foster care system. The evening will feature both silent and live auctions filled with one-of-a-kind items and unforgettable experiences – including custom play structures built by local students with support from the Umpqua Valley Homebuilders Association.
