Spruce Up Your Home Before Spring Selling Season

Utilize the tail-end of winter to prepare your home for a speedy sale this spring!

Clean up the walkway by pressure washing the driveway and the walk leading up to the front door. Pressure washing is a quick way to restore without having to use a lot of elbow grease.

Blast Away Winter: Clear off your deck or back patio by blasting away winter’s mud and grime for a welcoming outdoor space, allowing buyers to see the potential for summer enjoyment. According to NAR (National Association of Realtors) pressure washing your home can add $10,000 to $15,000 value to your home.

When one door opens… How do your doorknobs look? Doors suffer wear and tear, and so does their hardware. Chipped or scuffed door knobs can downgrade a space. Buy in bulk to save and replace the outdated fixtures throughout the house for a cohesive update.

Shutters: Shutters are typically made of either plastic or wood, making them easy to clean up or paint. On the next sunny winter day, take them off to wipe, hose down, or paint. Another great reason to use your pressure washer and give your home a simple refreshing facelift.

Step Up: Stairways are an important feature of any home and oftentimes carpet wears down more quickly on the stairs. You can remove the carpet and replace it with the same look, or you could replace the carpet with wooden steps. Stairway pillars and rail kits can be purchased at the local home improvement store for a few hundred dollars and you can create a statement area in a weekend.
