Fireworks explode above Lake Union at 10:15 p.m. during Seafair 4th of July. Entry gates are open from 3 to 8 p.m. This year, you must register for a free ticket or buy a reserved seat. North shore: Gas Works Park has a kids’ zone, traditional games, a music stage, bicycle storage, 2 beer gardens, and food & drink vendors. South shore: Lake Union Park has kids’ basketball, traditional games, DJ music, a beer garden, and food & drink vendors.

Wear sunscreen and head to Summer Blast for “a full day of live music, food, entertainment, and craft vendors” plus offshore fireworks at 10 p.m. Enjoy live music on Dune Peninsula at Point Defiance Park, 5361 Yacht Club Road.
