FRI-SUN – Browse art from over 150 of Oregon and Washington’s most talented artists at the ceramics showcase.

AVENUE OF ROSES PARADE
SAT – View Roses in the Heart of Portland, the largest Eastside parade, embracing the shopping and service area.

ORCHID SHOW
SAT-SUN – Thousands of blooming orchids will be on display and for sale at the Oregon Orchid Show and Sale, billed as the largest orchid show in the Pacific Northwest.

TULIP FESTIVAL
THROUGH MAY 5 – View 40 acres adorned with tulips and daffodils in full bloom. Enjoy a snack at the gift shop and café at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival.

OREGON AG FESTIVAL
SAT-SUN – Experience life on the farm. Plant a seedling, ride a kid’s pony, meet farm animals, or dig for potatoes at the Oregon State Fairgrounds.

POUR OREGON
SUN – The annual wine festival welcomes over 50 boutique and artisan wine producers. Proceeds benefit Make-a-Wish Oregon.

TENALI
THROUGH MAY 12 – The Northwest Children’s Theatre hosts Tenali: The Royal Trickster. This tale follows a hilarious and exotic whodunnit.

TEDx
SAT – Head to TedX Portland for an excellent panel discussion with Salt & Straw co-founder Tyler Malek, Hotel Rwanda Family & Survivor Carine Kanimba, Carbon Engineering CEO Steve Oldham, and more with a snack, quick sip, and happy hour.

THE OREGON SYMPHONY
ONGOING – Classical Up Close hosts Oregon musicians and special guests for a series of 15 free chamber music concerts including six full-length evening concerts, six intimate blitz performances, and three kids’ concerts.

CRAB, SEAFOOD, AND WINE FEST
FRI-SUN – Head to Astoria for scrumptious fresh seafood and highlighted wines. Participate in arts and crafts and browse festival vendors.

MARRIAGE EXPO
SUN – This expo takes the focus off cakes, dresses, place settings and things. The event is designed to give couples the right tools to last a lifetime of happiness and stay married. Live speakers from counseling and financial fields will host marriage discussions.

OMSI EVENT
ONGOING – OMSI takes a behind the scenes glance at Pixar creations. Experience the science, technology, art, and concepts by Pixar artists for award-winning films.

HISTORIC CHINATOWN
ONGOING – Head to the Portland Chinatown Museum for a look beyond the gate. This exhibit uses rate objects and visuals to explain the history and old tales of Portland’s historic Chinatowns.

VANCOUVER METRO EVENTS 

SPRING PADDLE FESTIVAL
SAT-SUN – Head to Vancouver Lake Park and participate in the 27th Annual Spring Paddle Festival. Vendors will have numerous styles of watercraft available to try-out and try demonstrations or classes on.

HOME & GARDEN FAIR
FRI-SUN – The Idea Fair hosts local businesses specializing in home and garden related products and services. Jot down ideas on how to make your home, yard, and garden more environmentally friendly and energy-efficient.

FRI – Spark creativity and inspiration with over 85 local vendors. Meet and network with local business owners and support small businesses in your community.
