The Festival of Arts is a three-day celebration of creativity, culture, and community in downtown Gresham. From lively street activations to evening concerts and a full-scale arts festival, the weekend offers multiple ways to connect with local artists, musicians, and neighbors.
JAZZ FESTIVAL
The Jazz Society’s Cathedral Park Jazz Festival is a free concert open to the public and held over three days in mid-July at Cathedral Park at the base of the St. Johns Bridge in the Cathedral Park neighborhood of Portland. Nearing four decades of history, the festival is the longest-running jazz and blues festival west of the Mississippi River.

Movies under the stars with free popcorn. All movies are subtitled. Movie screenings begin after dusk.
ZOO NIGHTS
Nothing says summer in Portland like a warm evening outdoors with good food and live entertainment. On several evenings throughout the summer, the Oregon Zoo hosts Zoo Nights filled with local music, food carts, activities for all ages and the chance to get to know some of the animals active during twilight hours.

DORY DAYS FESTIVAL
OnIn Pacific City. It’s a celebration of the local dory fishing culture unique to Pacific City. It’s Christmas in July in Pacific City for this year’s Dory Days. The festival includes a parade, fish fry, live music, and more!

FRIDAY NIGHT RACES
These unsanctioned downhill mountain biking races for passionate riders looking for fun and community camaraderie is back! There will be six individual races held on a different downhill track at Mt. Bachelor’s Bike Park held on Friday nights. Put your skills to the test by competing in all six races or just register for the race day that features your favorite trail.
KID’S ENTREPRENEUR MARKET
An entirely kid-run, eco-friendly market for ages 7–17 where young entrepreneurs sell handmade artwork, crafts, food, toys, jewelry, and more. A real-world experience that sparks creativity, builds confidence, and teaches business and life skills — all while having a blast!
