The Saturday Market is the oldest weekly open-air crafts festival in the U.S. It has been operating for 54 years and is open every Saturday.

Join us for the 3rd Annual Community Well-Being Challenge to explore the many accessible resources, events, and activities that lead to greater longevity. The 2025 Community Well-Being Challenge launches on January 18th and runs through December 31st. Thrive Umpqua and dozens of community partners are offering free classes, hosting exciting events, offering unique exploration opportunities, and much more. Participants are invited to participate in at least 6 well-being activities throughout the year that correspond to the 6 Longevity Principles: Move More, Connect, Live on Purpose, Plant Slant, Unwind and Positive Outlook.
UVA’S BIRD FIELD TRIP @ FORD’S POND
People new to birding are always welcome to join in, as are families with children. Loaner binoculars are available for adults and children. We will have local volunteer birders in attendance, but we also encourage the group to help spot and ID birds. We walk at a slow pace, stopping often to observe birds.
