ART AND THE VINEYARD FESTIVAL
The Maude Kerns Art Center is thrilled to present the 37th annual Art and the Vineyard Festival, the premier art festival of the Southern Willamette Valley, returning to Alton Baker Park in Eugene after a four-year, pandemic-related hiatus. The three-day festival is a benefit for the Maude Kerns Art Center, supporting the center’s yearlong exhibits and education programs. Enjoy art in the Artists’ Marketplace and Art For Your Garden, wine, food, art activities, and live entertainment on the Main Stage.
EUGENE EMERALDS
The Eugene Emeralds Minor League Baseball team will play six games against the Hillsboro Hops. Watch the action unfold at beautiful PK Park! The Ems have been a beloved local team since the 50s and host fun theme nights at every game. July 4th will conclude with fireworks.
THE SATURDAY MARKET
The Saturday Market is a weekly celebration of local arts and food. Over 250 artisans sell handcrafted goods – this is the perfect place to shop for unique gifts. The Saturday Market is the oldest weekly open-air crafts festival in the U.S. It has been operating for 54 years, open every Saturday, April through November, rain or shine. The Saturday Market coincides with the Lane County Farmers Market. Parking is available on-street and at nearby garages. Do not miss this iconic Eugene experience!
FAMILY STORYTIME
Young children and family come learn and have fun together with books, songs, and more at Family Storytime! Storytimes are lively interactive gatherings filled with stories, songs, rhymes, movement and social time for young children and their grown-ups. Research shows these language-rich activities help develop the skills they’ll need as they grow into learning to read.
VOLUNTEER GARDENING
Share your passion for roses and gain hands on experience in year-round care of perennial shrubs! Volunteer Gardeners meet by the garage door of the shop at the garden wearing weather appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes. No experience necessary.
