KID’S ART CLASS
The techniques covered in this Kid’s Art Class are tools that will help them take their creativity to the next level. They will learn about acrylic painting, such as: how to prepare the surface, how to mix colors, and much more. Kids will leave with a whole new understanding of how to approach art—and some new pieces of artwork to show off!
BOARD GAME BEGINNER’S NIGHT
Head to Funagain Games for game night! They will be playing modern family-friendly board games such as Azul, Carcassonne, Pandemic, Codenames, and more. This game night is free to join, and all ages and experience levels are welcome.
WILLAMETTE VALLEY BIRD SYMPOSIUM
This year’s Willamette Valley Bird Symposium will feature a day-long event bringing together professionals, students, and amateurs from the Willamette Valley and beyond. For the first time since 2020, they are back in person and offering great talks and opportunities for valuable conversations among bird enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds. Highlights include talks from plenary speakers, student research presentations, a bird research techniques demonstration, and book signings!
