COVERED BRIDGE REGATTA
OAR, along with help from the South Eugene Rowing Club and the University of Oregon Crew Team, hosts the Covered Bridge Regatta at Lowell State Park. This regatta covers two weekends; the first two-day Junior event and the second a one-day Masters event. As one of the top rowing venues in the country, the Covered Bridge Regatta now regularly draws over 40 teams hailing from Arizona to British Columbia to compete in the 8-lane fully-buoyed 2000-meter course.
SATURDAY FARMERS MARKET
The Lane County Farmers Market is Eugene’s largest farmers market, providing locally grown foods from over 100 farmers and food artisans. The market is year-round, and all items are grown or produced in Oregon. The Saturday Farmers Market is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. during February and March, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from April to December.

ART AS RECORD
In partnership with the Japanese American Museum of Oregon, Umpqua Valley Arts presents a story, a record, of this experience through a selection of woodblock prints, paintings, and art objects made in camp along with other items that will provide a glimpse of this darker part of WWII history, and the way it has deeply affected an entire generation of Japanese-Americans. UVA’S BIRD FIELD TRIP
People new to birding are always welcome to join in, as are families with children. Loaner binoculars are available for adults and children. We will have local volunteer birders in attendance, but we also encourage the group to help spot and ID birds. We walk at a slow pace, stopping often to observe birds.
