In Beervana, suds are celebrated every waking and drinking hour — but Portland’s PDX Beer Week takes that adoration for beer to the next level. Every June, PDX Beer Week features limited-edition brews, a lineup of events, and beer specials at bars and brewpubs citywide, overflowing with so much hop fever that the “week” spills into ten full days of thirst-quenching fun.

Combining the vibes of an art show, a live street concert and an open-air bazaar, the Portland Saturday Market has been a beloved Rose City tradition since 1974 — in 2024, the market celebrated its 50th anniversary and earned the “Oregon Heritage Tradition” title. It’s considered the largest continually operating arts-and-crafts fair in the United States, drawing up to 1 million visitors during its annual season.

AMERICA 250 SERIES
Flag Day is a national holiday celebrated annually on June 14 to commemorate the adoption of the United States flag by the Continental Congress on June 14, 1777. Enjoy an afternoon of music, an educational display of the American flags that have flown over the Vancouver Barracks, living history character meet-and-greets, and a flag-related make-and-take craft activity. Food trucks will be available for tasty bites!

LINCOLN CITY SUNDAY MARKET
Lincoln City Sunday Market is an outdoor community market featuring fresh produce, local vendors, handmade goods, and food. Visitors can enjoy shopping local while experiencing the vibrant coastal community atmosphere.
BIRD WALK
Enjoy diverse habitat along the D River, cross a hidden boardwalk traversing unique wetlands, then through the campgrounds to Devils Lake. Look for wintering birds like Hermit Thrush, sparrows, and waterfowl. All of the Seven Capes Bird Alliance walks are free and open to the public. No prior experience is needed and you do not need to pre-register. The walks are led by experienced birders and will provide the free use of binoculars and field guides.
