JAZZ BANDS
Top jazz bands from five local high schools wow the audience at Hot Java Cool Jazz in The Paramount Theatre, 911 Pine St. in Seattle.

FILMS BY YOUNG DIRECTORS
National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY) showcases the best directors age 24 and younger, with a focus on “young persons from traditionally marginalized communities” at SIFF Cinema Uptown, 511 Queen Anne Ave. N in Seattle. Opening night March 26 begins with a red carpet and ends with an after-party at SIFF Cinema Downtown, 2100 4th Ave. in Seattle.



PARTY AT THE ART MUSEUM
A $65 ticket to SAM Remix includes “innovative performances, art-making activities, live music, and gallery admission” with snacks for sale and a no-host bar at Seattle Art Museum, 1300 1st Ave. in Seattle for age 21+.



COLOR FESTIVAL – SEATTLE CENTER
Wear clothes you don’t mind staining to Seattle Color Festival, which has food trucks, DJ music, colored powder for sale, and dancing to celebrate Indian Holi at Seattle Center in the Mural Amphitheater, 305 Harrison St. in Seattle. [Note that the No Kings protest march will arrive at Seattle Center in the afternoon.]

SCOTTISH BAGPIPES & DANCE
