CRAFTY WONDERLAND
Portland’s biannual art and craft fair boasts unique handmade wares from 225+ local vendors. Crafty Wonderland is now the city’s biggest arts and crafts market, drawing hundreds of vendors and tens of thousands of visitors to the (nice and dry) Oregon Convention Center in Northeast Portland. The twice-yearly market returns in early December and May (just in time for holiday shopping and Mother’s Day, respectively!).

You can celebrate Willamette Valley wine all year round, but especially during Oregon Wine Month, when the entire state joins in commemoration of the beloved industry for the month of May, offering special activities and promotions for the enjoyment of Oregon wine.

CINCO DE MAYO FIESTA
For more than 30 years, the Portland Guadalajara Sister City Association has hosted a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta that has become one of the largest multicultural celebrations in Oregon. The fiesta boasts three full days packed with festivities and culturally immersive programming at Tom McCall Waterfront Park in downtown Portland. During the event, festival-goers can experience the spirit of Mexico through music, arts, dance and sport.

The Seaside Public Library is hosting Movies At The Library! Each month we are showing one or two films ranging from Golden-Age classics to contemporary spectacles and independent cinema. For some films we will have a film historian offer a perspective and a context to the showing.
