LANE COUNTY FAIR
Head out to the Lane Events Center this weekend for excellent family fun, concerts, carnival rides, games and entertainment. All types of carnival rides will be at the fair, including a large Ferris wheel to give you a bird’s eye view of the fairgrounds and Eugene. Browse the animal and agricultural exhibits, arts and crafts and expo hall. Advance ticketing recommended.
MOVIES IN THE PARK
Willamalane presents Sounds Like Summer movies in the park. On Friday from 8:30-11:30 pm at Island Park see Raya and the Last Dragon, which follows lone warrior Raya and the legendary last dragon to stop the evil force that threatens her home world, Kumandra. VISIT THE CASCADES RAPTOR CENTER
Head for the south hills of Eugene, on the slopes of Spencer Butte, and meet the resident birds and take a self-guided tour. Aviaries are spread out along short trails rich in wildlife, especially birds. This beautiful location gives the peace and quiet the raptors need, plus excellent airflow and shade cover to protect them from extreme weather.
UMPQUA VALLEY SUMMER ARTS FESTIVAL
Celebrate the arts at the Umpqua Valley Summer Arts Festival! Peruse handmade works by more than 130 regional artists and makers, send your kids to the Kids’ Zone, participate in a community art project, enjoy live performances, and more. Opens Friday at 12 pm; Saturday and Sunday at 10 am at Fir Grove Park in Roseburg.
RIVERBEND LIVE! 2021 CONCERT SERIES
Bring the family, a blanket, some dinner, and drinks to Riverbend Park in Winston on Friday at 7:00 pm to enjoy a free performance of Firebringer by the Riverbend Live Youth Theater.

Everyone is invited to attend the Glide Summer Bash on Saturday, presented by Glide Revitalization, to enjoy a relaxing stress-free night.
