HIKING IN OREGON

RAMONA FALLS

Take a 7.1 mile round trip loop and gain over 1,000 ft in elevation on this hike near Mt. Hood over the Sandy river. 

BALCH CANYON LOOP

Hike along a babbling creek in Forest Park, a great unique part of this trail is it was once required to be wheelchair assessable, the sections along the lower Macleay park trailhead wide enough to accommodate.  

MUD LAKE

This 7.4 mile round trip hike is nestled between Tomlike Mountain, Waucoma Ridge, and Green Point Mountain. 

HUG POINT TO ARCH CAPE

Walk along a paved trail to an enclosed beach, and follow the path along secluded shores and views of Castle Rock.  

ADULT CAMP

Book a three-day cabin adventure to the Oregon Cascades at a kids’ sleepaway camp converted to a grownup’s playground. Go back to summer camp with meal bells, songs around the campfire, and counting stars.

HIKING IN WASHINGTON

BATTLEGROUND LAKE STATE PARK

Follow the trail and enjoy over 1.5 miles of saltwater shoreline to explore, the marsh loop, and spot large birds. 

PIONEER PARK

Enjoy this 1.25 mile roundtrip hike in Mercer Island. Navigate through a dense network of forest trails with tall trees and moss, ferns, and wildflowers. A great place for hikers, bikers, and equestrians. 

ERUPTION TRAIL

Head to the Mt. Helens National Monument for a paved hike less than one mile from the Johnston Ridge Observatory included with 360 views of Mount St. Helens and the blast zone. 

WALLACE FALLS

Drive out to Stevens pass for a scenic central cascades trail with serene tranquility along the Wallace River and nine waterfalls.

You can watch footage of Disneyland rides online, spreading joy and making your home the happiest place on earth.. Or close to it. Use an empty laundry basket in front of the TV, for your little one to climb aboard and enjoy a ride on their favorite Disney adventure without lines.

  • Calling all seamstresses! Contact your local Jo-Ann fabric store for a mask-making kit! They’ll give you pieces of fabric and you can create masks, drop them back off at Jo-Ann’s and they’ll take them to the local hospital for our heroic medical teams.
  • Connect on Nextdoor to see what’s going on in your community and check-in with your neighbors. Make sure to practice safe social distancing with neighbors but be sure to check-in with your elderly neighbors. A quick phone call to boost their morale or an offer to walk their dog will go a long way.
