WORLD CUP SOCCER
Catch the excitement of a FIFA World Cup soccer game at Lumen Field, 800 Occidental Ave. S in Seattle. FIFA stands for Fédération Internationale de Football Association. June 26 — Egypt vs. Iran. July 2 & 7 — to be determined


PRIDE PARADE & FESTIVAL
Saturday (12 to 8 p.m.) — PrideFest Capitol Hill extends five blocks on Broadway, with beer gardens, restaurants, and four stages. Sunday — Pride Parade (11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) goes up 4th Avenue from Pike to Denny Way. It ends near Seattle Center, site of PrideFest Seattle Center (12 to 8 p.m.), the Northwest’s largest lesbian, gay, and transgender event.


BREMERTON FESTIVAL & FIREWORKS
Enjoy live music, a beer garden, and 90 vendors on the Bremerton boardwalk, and then watch fireworks launch from The Manette Bridge (Sat. 10:15 p.m.) during Bremerton Bridge Blast. The boardwalk is at 243 2nd St. in Bremerton.


FOOD FAIR
The Taste Northwest has 70 food vendors, $6 tastes, a crafts market, live entertainment, games, cooking competitions, and adult-beverage gardens at Washington State Fair Events Center, 110 9th Ave. SW in Puyallup. Parking is not free.


SEAFAIR PIRATES
Seattle Seafair Pirates make their traditional landing at Alki Beach Park, 2701 Alki Ave. SW in Seattle. After landing, the pirates will entertain kids on the beach. Landing time is 1:30 p.m. “give or take 30 minutes.”


MOTOCYCLE RACING
MotoAmerica has qualifying events on Friday, five classes of races on the weekend, go karts, food vendors, and camping at 170-acre Ridge Motorsports Park, 1060 W Eells Hill Road in Shelton. Children age 12 and younger are free.


BELLEVUE NIGHT MARKET
Main street is closed to cars during Old Bellevue Summer Night Market, which features 20 artists, food trucks, and a beer garden outside 520 Bar & Grill, 10146 Main St. in Bellevue.


PARADE IN GREENWOOD
Watch bands, drill teams, floats, and pirates in the Greenwood Seafair Parade that goes north on Greenwood Avenue (from 73rd to 80th), and then goes west to 6th Avenue NW. No pets.


MOVIE IN SEATTLE PARKS
Center City Cinema turns city parks into open-air theaters. Bring blankets, chairs, and snacks. May be canceled if it rains. Schedule. June 24 — Emperor’s New Groove, Capitol Hill.


EARLY INDEPENDENCE DAY
Register online to attend Freedom Fest at the military base, which includes carnival rides, food trucks, vendors, entertainment, military displays, and fireworks at 10:15 p.m. Take exit 119 and enter through DuPont Gate, 4085 West Way, at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Free shuttle from satellite parking. See required ID for age 18+; bring school ID for age 16 & 17.
